Project leaders selected Shane Farthing and Associates as the consulting firm to develop content for a regional guide to trails and greenways on and off the Parkway. They anticipate including at least five trails per Parkway county, and the trails will be grouped into marketable themes, such as best hikes for families, waterfall hikes, and the most accessible pathways. The consultant is working with project staff, the trails and greenways action team, and other community contacts to collect suggestions for both trails and trail themes to feature in the regional guide.
