In fall 2025, the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation partnered with T-Mobile to assess cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Using a router provided by T-Mobile, Foundation staff collected data on signal strength, latency, and data speeds across three major carriers, covering more than 300 miles of the Parkway corridor. This data will help identify priority locations for improving connectivity through the installation of cellular and Wi-Fi boosters at 10 or more sites on/near the Parkway.
